Precautions for water-based sealing glue
① When using hand glue, it is generally left to dry for 2 to 4 minutes after brushing the glue depending on the model of the sealing glue. After the film is translucent, it is bonded to avoid glue overflow.
② The glue has a certain moisture resistance, so when there is wild glue, it can be wiped with cotton yarn dipped in gasoline or ethyl ester solvent. The container and brush are rinsed with water and then washed with solvent.
③ Because of its fast drying, this product should not be brushed repeatedly, so as not to affect the brushability.
④ The amount of glue should be moderate, and the glue should be applied by hand. Usually, the amount of glue should be controlled at about 100g/㎡, or it depends on the bonding strength requirements of the specific product. The specific amount of glue can be absorbed according to the paper
The speed of moisture and the temperature are determined. Paper with slow water absorption should be less glued, less glued when the temperature is low, and more glued on the contrary. And after bonding, there must be enough pressure depending on the stiffness of the product to be glued to ensure that the two glued surfaces are fully in contact and pressed for at least 1h before entering the next process.
⑤ When using machine viscose, the amount of sizing should be controlled at the discharge port. The workpiece should not be degummed. If the amount of sizing is too large, the glue will overflow. If the amount of sizing is too small, the bonding strength will be affected. If the substrate is too thin, the amount of sizing can be appropriately adjusted to avoid degumming at the discharge end.
