In daily life, we are inseparable from clothing in every aspect, but the decomposition of fabrics by many people is very superficial, so that the clothes that are occasionally bought with a lot of money are cancelled after being worn a few times. The editor shares some lightweight skills for judging fabrics with friends.
There are two techniques for effectively identifying fabrics:
One is the sensory method, and the other is the sign recognition method
One is the sensory method, and the other is the sign recognition method
One is the sensory method, and the other is the sign recognition method.
Sensory recognition method:
The sensory method requires an inevitable resume, but it is not difficult to do it. Only by deliberately touching various fabrics when shopping in the market, there will be a harvest over time
Distinguish silk and artificial silk by feel method:
● Silk feels soft and elastic. When rubbed lightly, there is a silk sound and a cool feeling; while artificial silk feels relatively rough and cold.)
● The light of silk is gentle, bright and not eye-catching; the light of artificial silk is similar to metal.
● Grasp the fabric and then spread it out, the folds of silk are less than those of artificial silk
● Dot (water) on the fabric and rub it by hand. Silk is easy to break, while silk is more reliable.
Various fibers are differentiated by sensory characteristics:
Fiber title, feel characteristics
Cotton, fine and soft, small elasticity, easy to wrinkle.
Hemp, feel coarse and hard, often have defects.
Silk, there is light, soft and light, there is a rustling sound when pinching, and there is a cool feeling.
Wool, rich and elastic, gentle light, warm to the touch, not easy to wrinkle.
Polyester, good elasticity, greasy, strong, stiff, cool feeling.
Nylon, not easy to break, elastic, greasy, light texture, not as soft as silk.
Vinylon, similar to cotton, has a dark light, is not as soft as cotton, has poor resilience and is easy to wrinkle.
Acrylic fiber has good cold resistance, high strength, lighter than cotton, and has a soft and loose feeling.
Viscose fiber, softer than cotton, has a stronger appearance than cotton, but its fastness is not good.;
The pure cotton fabric will not pilling after burning, and it will be powdery if glued by hand.
Cotton: Benefits: sweat-absorbing and breathable, soft, anti-sensitive, easy to rinse, not easy to pilling.
Disadvantages: easy to wrinkle, shrink, and deform. Pure cotton woven fabric, so cotton is the material, through the loom, a textile made of warp and weft yarns that rise and fall vertically and horizontally and cross each other.
